Instalment Tracker: Debt Management System for an Appliance Store
How an appliance store in Kashkadarya Region ditched notebooks and automated instalment tracking for 200+ clients.
Problem
An appliance store in Kashkadarya Region sold goods on instalment plans. All records were kept in a notebook: who bought what, how much they paid, when the next payment was due. With 200+ active clients this became unmanageable. The owner spent hours each day calling clients manually and checking records. Overdue payments got lost, and disputes over amounts with clients happened regularly.
Solution
We built a web application for instalment tracking: client database, payment history, automatic overdue notifications, debt reports. Simple interface requiring no technical knowledge.
Process
Analysis of the current process and notebook records. Migration of existing data into the system. Development of modules: clients, goods, instalments, payments. SMS notification setup. Staff training.
Result
The owner saves 2-3 hours per day. All overdue payments are immediately visible. Client disputes over amounts dropped to zero — the full history is in the system. The debt collector knows who to visit without calling the office.
